Windsor Baptist Church

Our regularly scheduled meeting was held on Monday, Jan. 3rd at the church. There were 15 ladies in attendance.  Missionary Chairwoman, Luella Vandervort read portions of two missionary letters.  The first from the McKinney's in Poland who have been on a busy furlough; the second from the Nulph’s in Canada who are both recovering from recent health problems.  Please be sure to read our missionaries letters that are in the Missionary Notebook in the foyer area.  She also gave a testimony on the blessing of entertaining one of the ladies and her 6 week old baby from The Maternity House at their family Christmas dinner.  What a blessing to experience firsthand what this organization is accomplishing!  Please consider being a small blessing and drop a few coins in the piggy bank in the foyer to help them out.  Please avail yourselves of their 2010 newsletter which is available in the foyer.  We are now collecting money for our college and military church members.  Our goal is to send each one a $20 gift card.  Please give your donations to either Karen Tackeberry or Leah Boyle.  Next month is the Valentine’s Banquet that will be held at the church on Saturday, February 12th at 6 pm.  Tickets are $8 per person and may be purchased from either Karen or Kari Tackeberry.  Deadline is January 30th.  You won’t want to miss this one.
